Every week, we provide opportunities for hundreds of school children in Ethiopia, Kenya, Honduras and Guatemala to play football.
We fund the employment of local coaches in poor communities who deliver regular football sessions to children at local schools. Often these programmes are run in tandem with charities on the ground who work closely with the coach and monitor the progress of the children.
As the children develop and learn new skills, they pass these on to other community members and often go on to become coaches themselves.
We also provide these projects with equipment and kit and often help in the renovation of football pitches and facilities.
As well as our coaching projects, we award educational bursaries to exceptional individuals involved in our projects to enable them to stay in school or go on to higher education. Find out more about our projects.
